MARBLE ......
what can we say about the magnificent marble? It is really beatiful natural stone. It is the most luxorious stone, and it is the one that say "class". In this article, i would like to give a short information about the marble, his qualities and the selection that Phoenix  Stoneworks is producing.

Structure:

Marble is a scale which is formed at metamorphing of calcite and dolomite. Subjected to extreme levels of pressure or heat, the limestone is converted into calcite or dolomite crystals. Coloration varies from snow white to all shades and colors. It is due to impurities such as iron or carbon, which fall within the structure of the marble during its formation. Colors often appear in stripes which makes the marble very beautiful, especially when it is cut and compact surface pores of the stone there. Because of these properties, it is commonly used in arts for making masterpieces of it.

The modern marble is formed in the Paleozoic era. The purest calcite marble is white and colored marble with hematite has a reddish color and one with limonite is yellow.

Qualities:

Processing:

Cleaning and maintaining marble is done by using special machines, grinding wheels and preparations which further cleans in depth. After this procedure, the surface is almost dry.
